Michael is an associate attorney with Taylor Anderson. Prior to joining Taylor Anderson, Michael worked on the corporate and general liability teams at an AM100 insurance defense firm in San Diego. As an associate attorney Michael litigates cases from inception to conclusion.
Focusing his practice on civil litigation, Michael represents an array of businesses and individuals in contractual, general liability, insurance coverage disputes, and intellectual property matters. In addition, Michael has experience in corporate governance, non-profit entities, labor and employment, and commercial litigation.
Prior to law school, Michael worked with two of the top ten title companies in the nation, where he held positions in the loan closing and accounting departments. Michael handled a myriad of loan closing issues related to chain of title, subordination, and escrow disputes.
During law school, Michael was a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Analysis with Professor Judith Teeter and assisted the International Vis Moot team with the 25th Willem Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition, where Pitt Law placed in the top of 32 out of 357 law schools. Michael also worked for the University of Pittsburgh's Athletic Compliance Department, where he advised NCAA Division I staff on rule interpretations and recruiting practices. Michael gained invaluable trial experience while clerking at Allegheny and San Diego Offices of the Public Defender, where he defended felony adult and juvenile cases.
