The Adams County Housing Authority (ACHA) is a government entity in the Denver metro area which provides low cost housing, financial education, and home ownership counseling to families in need.
The plaintiff, a tenant of an apartment complex that fell under the ACHA’s umbrella, claimed that he fell after a stair broke under his foot, causing several injuries including multiple rotator cuff tears to his right rotator cuff.
Taylor | Anderson lawyers drafted a motion to dismiss, arguing that plaintiff failed to comply with Colorado’s Governmental Immunity Act. Following the successful motion to dismiss, the Taylor | Anderson team also sought and were awarded attorney fees and costs.
